Service Medal of the Order of St John

This Medal was instituted in 1898 by Queen Victoria, with her effigy remaining throughout, is awarded : For 10 years long service (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada) or 12 years service in Great Britain.

Bars represent an additional five years service.
