The NSW Fire Brigade Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was instituted in 2004 which was the 120th anniversary of the fire Brigades Bill of 1884. On January 2011 the name of the medal was changed to the Fire and Rescue NSW Long Service and Good Conduct.
