Air Force Cross

The Air Force Cross was instituted in 1918 and awarded to officers and warrant officers of the RAF/RAAF and extended in 1919 to include Naval, Army and civil award for: An act, or acts of valour, courage or devotion to duty while flying, but not on active operations against the enemy.
